June Weather

It was a lovely June with a mix of hot and mild days with temperatures, highs and lows, near normal.  We're even looking forward to a very nice Independence Day before the triple digits hit.

Watering Rules

Please water only three days per week, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Change your sprinkler controller seasonal setting to 100% for the next two months.  

Water Conservation

Water usage for the month was  73,100 gallons per household. Usage was 4% better than the target and 7% better than last year. Year to date usage is 11% better than target and 23% better than last year.  Click here for a larger view.  

Website Upgrade

The Belmont Water Corporation website has been upgraded and rebuilt to make it easier to navigate on computers and smart phones. Give it a test run at www.belmontwater.org.

Belmont Country Club Board Election

Nomination for Board of Directors of Belmont Country Club (BCC) is now open. Proprietary members who have been members in good standing for two (2) years are qualified to become Directors. Your self nomination needs to be turned in to the BCC office by July 10 along with signatures of recommendation from 25 proprietary members. I encourage everyone in the neighborhood who is a BCC proprietary member to run. We need to involved to support and protect our club and our neighborhood. I can provide a list of proprietary members to whom you can solicit support. As of July 2, no nominations have been submitted.

1,2,3-TCP Mitigation

Engineering for the pilot program has been proceeding with input from the SWRCB.  Start up of the test should be around August 1.

Settlement funds are still in the attorney's trust account.  We have again agreed to use a professional trustee.
